Video Project: Welcome to Roots Hair Salon
On Friday, I had the privilege of doing a video project for a new business in my hometown. I came into this project more than happy to do it for a couple of reasons.
(1) I was doing a project for a friend and it gave me joy to see their excitement of starting a new business. I understand that feeling, as it was me just a few months ago.
(2) Being involved with the local Chamber of Commerce, it's always a good feeling to see a new business come to town. This one is a great addition to a Main Street that we are trying to revitalize.
As you can see in the video, Roots Hair Salon is beautiful inside. I heard many comments at the Grand Opening that the inside looks like it belongs in downtown Princeton or even Chicago. Not little Walnut.
I hope Hannah's business thrives. On the marketing side, I hope this video attracts a few new clients for her.
I will leave you with this. I love my little town. I even wrote a blog post about it. I love it because it's encouraging at a Grand Opening like this that other local hairdressers attended to offer their congratulations to Hannah. These are competitors in the same town, but people that value friendships more than that.
