Fighting For More Birthdays
I don't know what it's like to have a child at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. But, I know firsthand some friends that have and they have nothing but amazing things to say about the hospital and the team that works there.
During an extremely tough time in families lives that are affected by childhood cancer, St. Jude is here to help.
St. Jude Hospital was established in 1962. From their website:
We've spent more than half a century finding cures and saving children, and our groundbreaking research has helped push the survival rate for childhood cancer from less than 20% in 1962 to more than 80% today.
Needless to say, it's a great organization.
Why am I writing about St. Jude on my business blog? Well, I had a little part in helping market an event for the organization that takes place in my hometown on Saturday.
All proceeds of this benefit will go directly to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. You can participate by taking part in the bake sale, bags tournament, disc golf tournament, trivia, live auction or eat supper at the park.
My birthday is coming up in less than two months. I don't know what it's like to literally fight to see my next birthday. Please support a wonderful organization and all they do for families around the globe.
