Website Overview: Fall Fest on Main
Walnut's Fall Fest on Main took place last weekend. As director of the event, and being in it's third year, I felt it was time for a website. This website was completed donated by me as my sponsorship to the Festival.
The website launched in August and it features details about everything happening with a detailed schedule, music line-up information, a list of sponsors, why the festival was created, rules for the chili cook-off and pie baking contest that happens on Friday night, plus more.
I kept the website branding similar to the poster and brochures that are distributed by using the same shade of orange as well as the same fonts.

Visitors can get the know the musical talent better with a list of the line-up on the homepage and then a page dedicated to the line-up with set times and the band's bios as well.
There is also a countdown on the homepage leading up to the event. After this blog post goes live I will reset the timer to countdown to the 2019 date (October 5th).
For those planning their day for Fall Fest, there is a section for kids activities as well as other family activities. These pages have detailed information about each activity, where you can find them and what time they are on the schedule.
Each year will be updated with a photo gallery.
Fall Fest on Main is something I look forward to each year as I help with the planning. It's a fun, family event with all proceeds benefiting the community. This was an enjoyable website to work on and it will continue to be updated leading up to next year's event.
